Northern Ireland is a beautiful country, it has a lot to offer, unpredictable weather, scenic routes, amazing light and now and again some sort of surprise.
I have visited a few times, but not enough times and definitely not extensively.
A lot more research, planning and visits on the horizon to do, and specially since I live so close.
There is a lot more than the usual touristic places, and the more a person travel through backroads, beat hiking trails or take to the coastal areas, the better.
The Mourne Mountains wins the most visits so far, have been there in glorious sunny weather and in snowy and foggy weather, always a nice adventure to go there, capture some great images and having a good time with my friends.
This image above, was captured on the hike back to the car, after a successful sunrise photo session, but this image of the sheep between the big rocks ended up being my favourite of the day.
The image bellow was capture back in 2015 in the Silent Valley, Mourne Mountains, this was my first visit to this mountain range, and I count this image as one of my favourites among all my portfolio, gives me a sense of calm.
Both images are available for sale (unframed), and printed on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl Paper in A3 size.
